This piece is NOT your typical weakly mirrored moderate flash 83CC. Nope, this coin is ALIVE with flash!
From across the room you see the mirrors flash. Both sides are deep, clear, clean,and have strong reflectivity. We’d consider the mirrors to be glass like smooth. Of course they are a full 8″. Miss Liberty and the details are thickly frosted and are fully struck. Old timers will like that her cheek is totally original and was never messed with. The eye appeal is wonderful!
PCGS 122, NGC 39, CAC 16. Hard to believe but until recently, NO 83CC PCGS/CAC piece had sold at auction. The one that did brought $5,400.00. Even an NGC MS66DMPL CAC brought $6,463.00 01/2013 heritage.
