WOW! This coin should have been a MS67+. We all have seen worse in higher holders!
Just a scattered light line or two can be seen. NOTHING stands out or is detracting. Both sides have an intense booming luster which shows off the ORIGINAL snowy white surfaces. This is NOT a dipped out piece. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have full strikes. her cheek will impress the pickiest old timer. The eye appeal is tremendous!
PCGS 93, NGC 201, CAC 43. Don’t care what other 1885’s look like or sold for. This coin is a MS67+ (in our opinion) all day long and will blow away any other coin. It is ex Coronet Collection (not labeled), soon to be the #1 all time MS Morgan Set (see the PCGS registry for a date set).
