Finally, a + coin that is really a + (and almost the next grade up)!
Only a few very minor frost breaks/marks on the reverse are what keep this coin from being a full MS65. You really need a glass to see them. Overall, the surfaces appear clean and satiny. The luster is strong and shows off totally ORIGINAL thick orange/gold colors. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have extra sharp strikes. The eye appeal is wonderful!
PCGS 134, NGC 130, CAC 19. In MS64+ PCGS has graded 3, while NGC has one. PCGS has graded 33 coins in MS65 of which only 4 have been beaned. NO 64+ have sold at auction. The last MS64 sold for $1,150.00 09/2011. Opportunity knocks loud here for someone who seeks a good date in the 70’s!
