We bought this coin raw and submitted seeking at least a PR66. Of course PCGS was super tight!
The surfaces are flawless. There are NO problems to found anywhere. That means NO spots. Both sides have good reflectivity. The colors are a rich chocolate brown/vivid green/gold. Miss Liberty and the details are needle sharp in strike and have thick colored frost. The eye appeal is wonderful!
PCGS 44, NGC 60, CAC 7 (ALL). This is the ONLY PR65+BN graded by PCGS. The last CAC PR65BN to sell at auction brought $1,380.00 Goldberg (it was not a +). This coin is fresh to the market. It was from an old Chapman Brothers collection that had been away until recently.
